If you have been watching the news today you probably saw something about the tornado that hit Orlando/Daytona Beach late last night. Click on the title of this post to read about it.
It did hit in the area that I am in for new staff training (Volusia County). We all knew that there was an intense thunder and lightning storm but it was only this morning that w knew of the deep damage that hit this area. They count 15 dead and over 500 homes damaged. makes me wonder if the northwest part of the states knows what happened. We can be so far removed from each other can't we?
Anyway, we are all okay here. Just wanted to make sure you all know that. :-)

ReplyDeleteAs a native Nebraskan, I know only too well the kind of night you had with the intense storms a tornado generates. I am glad to know that you and all the other CCCers are safe.
